Hi,
I have been running AG toolkit 2.3 on a single machine running Windows XP for the past year or so. When I fired up my AG node today, I noticed I was transmitting a black screen for my video. I am using a Videum capture card, and I heard that there are some issues with this card in AG toolkit. What I don't understand is why it stopped working all of a sudden. I didn't change anything as far as I know (yeah I know, we all heard THAT before). So in the off chance that I did change things, I blew away AG toolkit and the ...Application Data\AccessGrid folder for my AG user. I then re-installed AG toolkit. However I am still getting a black screen for my video. The VideoProducerService log file an has an 'Error Exception mapping device' message as shown in this log file snippet: 04/12/05 18:44:23 4016 Toolkit videoproducerservice.py:315 INFO VideoProducerService.SetResource : Videum Video Capture 04/12/05 18:44:24 4024 Toolkit videoproducerservice.py:345 INFO SetIdentity: Millersville University david.fitzger...@millersville.edu 04/12/05 18:44:25 4032 Toolkit agservice.py:136 INFO ConfigureStream: video 224.2.238.121 60531 04/12/05 18:44:25 4032 Toolkit videoproducerservice.py:160 INFO Mapping windows device: Videum Video Capture 04/12/05 18:44:25 4032 Toolkit videoproducerservice.py:162 INFO - videum 04/12/05 18:44:25 4032 Toolkit videoproducerservice.py:207 ERROR Exception mapping device Traceback (most recent call last): File "C:\Documents and Settings\UCAR5\Application Data\AccessGrid\local_services\VideoProducerService\VideoProducerService.py", line 205, in Start self.MapWinDevice(self.resource.resource) File "C:\Documents and Settings\UCAR5\Application Data\AccessGrid\local_services\VideoProducerService\VideoProducerService.py", line 164, in MapWinDevice videum_re = re.compile(".*(\d)_Videum.*") NameError: global name 're' is not defined 04/12/05 18:44:25 4032 Toolkit videoproducerservice.py:278 INFO Starting VideoProducerService 04/12/05 18:44:25 4032 Toolkit videoproducerservice.py:279 INFO executable = C:\Documents and Settings\UCAR5\Application Data\AccessGrid\local_services\VideoProducerService\vic.exe 04/12/05 18:44:25 4032 Toolkit videoproducerservice.py:280 INFO options = ['-u', 'C:/DOCUME~1/UCAR5/LOCALS~1/Temp/VideoProducerService_3980.vic', '-C', '"Video"', '-t', '127', '224.2.238.121/60531'] 04/12/05 18:44:25 4032 ProcessManager processmanager.py:59 DEBUG Creating process: C:\Documents and Settings\UCAR5\Application Data\AccessGrid\local_services\VideoProducerService\vic.exe -u C:/DOCUME~1/UCAR5/LOCALS~1/Temp/VideoProducerService_3980.vic -C "Video" -t 127 224.2.238.121/60531 04/12/05 18:44:25 4032 ProcessManager processmanager.py:72 DEBUG Create process returns: (<PyHANDLE object at 0x00A35A2C>, <PyHANDLE object at 0x012353C4>, 4056, 4060) 04/12/05 18:44:39 1068 ProcessManager processmanager.py:133 WARNING Couldn't terminate process <PyHANDLE:780> cleanly (258) 04/12/05 18:44:43 2068 Toolkit agservice.py:190 INFO Shut service down 04/12/05 18:44:44 4008 Hosting server.py:65 ERROR Exception in SOAP server main loop Traceback (most recent call last): File "C:\Python23\Lib\site-packages\AccessGrid\hosting\SOAPpy\Server.py", line 63, in Run self._server.handle_request() File "C:\Python23\lib\SocketServer.py", line 217, in handle_request request, client_address = self.get_request() File "C:\Python23\Lib\site-packages\SOAPpy\GSIServer.py", line 140, in get_request sock, addr = ThreadingGSITCPSocketServer.get_request(self) File "C:\Python23\Lib\site-packages\pyGlobus\io.py", line 525, in get_request self.socket.listen() File "C:\Python23\Lib\site-packages\pyGlobus\io.py", line 857, in listen So... how can I fix this?
