Hi,
The normal recommended minimum bandwidth for AG is about 10Mbps (see http://www.agsc.ja.net/faqs.php#Q4). If your DSL link has less than this, you will probably experience problems in meetings with more than one video stream. A solution to this is to use an rcBridge (see http://www.agsc.ja.net/services/rcbridge.php). This will allow you to select which streams are received by your site up to your bandwidth limit. However, this will also reduce your AG experience, as you will not be able to view all participants at once. Inorder to connect to multicast network at SingAREN, I am in the midst of setting up a dedicated 1GB link from my site to the SingAREN. However this 1GB link will not be ready until late April. As an interim solution to connect to SingAREN Internet 2, my network people here is coming up with a tunnel solution through the DSL network for the period Mar and April. This is not a dedicated network. It will be something like a WAN. Will this interim solution work for AG? Or will it become a serious bottleneck? Please advise thanks wansin
