sorry for resurrecting a dead thread. since VIC uses different source and destination ports, how does one figure out what the source port is or vise versa?
i have a bridged Venue server ?receiving? video unicast on port 56000. (/usr/bin/QuickBridge -g 224.2.211.9 -m 61339 -u 56000). what port would the unicast Venue client VIC be ?receiving? video on? would VIC be ?sending? video out on port 56001? the ??s mean that i'm not completely sure if i should be saying 'sending' or 'receiving'. thanks. --fred On Thu, Feb 17, 2005 at 09:51AM, Robert Olson said: > <snip> > > That's one description of the problems one sees with firewalls that > have reflexive ACLs installed - outgoing traffic on a port enables > incoming traffic on that port.
