- NOM is deactivated. - Only one microphone unmuted. Each time I check "Enable Acoustic Echo Canceller (AEC)" or set Non Linear Processing (NLP) to "Soft" (instead of "Off") I get this effect. Cant speak on my node at the same time a PIG is playing an audio file.
Mi question is, has someone done the same test? I cant really appreciate the problem that much just with normal speech. It must be a continuous sound (playing music por example). Maybe this is normal? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Natalia Costas Lago" <nata...@cesga.es> To: <pei...@maine.edu> Cc: "ag-tech" <ag-t...@mcs.anl.gov> Sent: Tuesday, December 28, 2004 9:34 AM Subject: Re: Fw: [AG-TECH] XAP setup > > I've read about mics gain adjustment, but i am unsure about what is best > about gain from "Rx from Codec" input (it is better to send the loudest > level from PC audio, so I will have a strong signal on the XAP input? or > that doesnt matter?) > > I'll think about NOM parameter, that is something i missed to think about. > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: <pei...@maine.edu> > To: "Natalia Costas Lago" <nata...@cesga.es> > Sent: Monday, December 27, 2004 9:47 PM > Subject: Re: Fw: [AG-TECH] XAP setup > > >> Natalia, >> The XAPs (I use XAP800's in other projects) are capable of full >> duplex with AEC. >> You might start by checking what your AEC reference for the >> microphones is comprised of.
