Dear Andrew, I am sorry for giving wrong information. AGTk 2.3 final does not have the ExtendedVideo{Producer, Consumer}Service. Instead of this, AGTk 2.3 with Extended*Service is available from http://nm.gist.ac.kr/agdv/. This is because Extended*Service demands the minor modification of VenueClient. So AGTk 2.3 final does not contain the Extended*Service. Manual of Extended*Service is available from the website; please refer to the document 'Extended Video Producer and Consumer Service: High-quality Video Delivery Technique for Access Grid' (DOC file, Chapter 5). In order to use these services, you need to have a DV camera plugged in.
If you have any questions, please let me know. There are also no zip files by these names in the Access Grid Toolkit services directory. Are these available to download separately? Do I need to have a DV camera plugged in to use these services? Access Grid with HDV contains new services: ExtentedVideoProducerService and ExtendedVideoConsumerService for high-quality video service over Access Grid. Using these services, High-defition Video (19.2Mbps 1280x720) and Digital Video (30Mbps 720x480) streaming with real-time encoding are available. These services will be released with AGTk 2.3 final version. In addition, AG Monitor is a tool to monitor system(CPU, Memory) and network resource(jitter, loss, bandwidth) based on hybrid monitoring scheme. This application is used for checking whether nodes have enough resource to provide high-quality video service or not. Now stand-alone version is developed and coded by Java and MFC on Windows platform. We are going to extend AG Monitor to Shared Application for estimating AG resource status. The above application is now available from: http://ace.netmedia.gist.ac.kr/ If you have any comments or questions, please let us know.
