Dear all, In the September Townhall meeting, we presented two applications for Access Grid: Access Grid with HDV and AG Monitor.
Access Grid with HDV contains new services: ExtentedVideoProducerService and ExtendedVideoConsumerService for high-quality video service over Access Grid. Using these services, High-defition Video (19.2Mbps 1280x720) and Digital Video (30Mbps 720x480) streaming with real-time encoding are available. These services will be released with AGTk 2.3 final version. In addition, AG Monitor is a tool to monitor system(CPU, Memory) and network resource(jitter, loss, bandwidth) based on hybrid monitoring scheme. This application is used for checking whether nodes have enough resource to provide high-quality video service or not. Now stand-alone version is developed and coded by Java and MFC on Windows platform. We are going to extend AG Monitor to Shared Application for estimating AG resource status.
