On WinXP Home edition there is no kill command, but on stock WinXP Pro and
higher there is. It can also be found on Win2003 too.

The WinXP 'kill' command is different to the Unix version as it takes
different arguments. The command-line equivalent of 'ps' on WinXP Pro is
'tasklist'.
