I noticed that some of my certs were getting close enough to expiration that I didn't want to worry about them, so I fired off 4 requests. Now I'm looking at the four in the Certificate Request tool (got the e-mail about all 4), and two say 'Ready for Installation' and two say 'Connection failed'. I've updated the status, but it didn't change the status.
Actually, I just imported three of them - when I did the first, I got a 'Checking' and one of the Connection failed turned into a Ready. Interesting - I stopped and started the Venue Client and now I was able to install the last one. Does Update Status really re-check? -randy
