I can't help directly (no windows here), but if dppt is giving you
problems you may want to try our OpenOffice.org based dppt:
http://www.ap-accessgrid.org/linux/dppt-oo/
DPPT is effectively deprecated due to Microsoft's non-support of the
Java VM it relies upon.
