Matt Thorpe here at RAL seems to have found a solution to the problem of configuring the Winnov Videum 4400 under Windows XP / AG 2.1.2 which does not require any inSors plugin. It is a moderately simple edit to the registry in the VIC area, not the WINNOV area (as far as I remember (I was frantically making up audio cables while he was telling me!)).
I'm sending this note as a reminder to him ;) to share it with ag-tech, as I'm now off in South Africa for three weeks :)).
