Thanks David,

What is the best way to genericize the handling of non-focused areas
that need to be paid attention to?  Perhaps we need
IA2_RELATION_LIVE_REGIONS_OF on the top level window and
IA2_RELATION_LIVE_REGION_FOR for the components that update out of focus
and should be responded to?
Will the "live region" components need any object attributes like
indicating that they are live regions and states indicating the priority
level of the region?  Perhaps the object attribute isn't needed and
would be redundant information if the state exists.

What other ideas do you have?
