AccProbe v0.4.4 released
All:
I am pleased to announce the release of the Eclipse ACTF Accessibility
Probe (AccProbe) v0.4.4. AccProbe is an Eclipse RCP-based stand-alone Java
aplication that combines inspection, event-monitoring, and hierarchical
viewing of accessible objects and their properties. It is currently only
available for the Windows platform but does support both MSAA- and
IAccessible2-enabled aplications. It is, so far as I know, the only game
in town for IAccessible2 inspection and event-monitoring, which also means
that it can be used to verify ARIA-enabled web applications in Firefox 2.x
and above and IBM Lotus Symphony chrome and documents.
You can learn more about AccProbe and download release v0.4.4 at:

Enhancements in the latest release include:
1. Implementation of new ia2 idl (version 1.1) which includes the new
interfaces IAccessibleTableCell and IAccessibleTable2. The IAccessible2
interface will now display these two interfaces if present. In order to
test these two new interfaces, users will need to use the latest Mozilla
Minefield browser (version 3.7a).
2. Fixed the tracking issue in some applications such as Lotus
Symphony by changing the way top level windows are loaded into the
Explorer View. If a single window has two processes running in it (such as
Lotus Notes or Lotus Symphony), AccProbe will now load a separate window
for each process, making the expansion while tracking easier.
3. Added a "howFound" property to accessible elements which lets the
user know how the event information and "hwnd" information for that
accessible was determined.
4. caret tracking is now supported for IBM Lotus Symphony documents
