Hi. Neither MSAA nor IA2 have checkable state. The checkable state is important when you deal with non-checkbox accessibles (i.e. the role is different than checkbox), for example, on treegrid checkbox cell, otherwise screen readers don't know whether the cell can be checked or unchecked. The Firefox provides checkable object attribute. But it sounds it's not completely right way. Could we consider to include checkable state into IA2 spec?
Thank you. Alex. _______________________________________________ Accessibility-ia2 mailing list [email protected] https://lists.linux-foundation.org/mailman/listinfo/accessibility-ia2
