Thanks Carolyn, I fixed the typos and removed the "draft" notation from the text attributes spec. > > And a couple of questions: > 1) I assume that new attributes that are determined to be generally > useful will be added from time to time and finalized when new versions > of IA2 are released? > For example: "text-underline-color:rgb(n,n,n);" and > "text-line-through-color:rgb(n,n,n);". Object attributes can be added without a change to the IDL so adding new ones isn't very disruptive. It would be good to have a discussion on the IA2 list for new proposals and as to when their implementations will be available.
I don't think we ever got to a consensus for adding text-underline-color and text-line-through-color. > > 2) Also, I notice that the word "Draft" is still on the Object > Attributes Specification. Are you planning to remove the "draft" from > that also? The object attributes still need some work. A little over a year ago Alex said he'd go through the Gecko source and let me know what needs to be updated, so Alex this is a reminder that we still need that. There is at least heading-level that needs to be added. > > 2a) Note that the important object attribute "text-model:a1;" is not > described at all. Is it as you have indicated or Iatext-model:A1 as documented in Brian's document at http://www.linuxfoundation.org/collaborate/workgroups/accessibility/ia2/ia2_implementation_guide Brian, It would be nice if that document had a toc at the front. > > Carolyn > > > > From: Pete Brunet <[email protected]> > To: IA2 List <[email protected]> > Date: 21/06/2011 11:02 PM > Subject: [Accessibility-ia2] IA2 text attributes - finalize? > Sent by: [email protected] > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > > > There hasn't been any discussion of text attributes since March 2009 > so it appears it is safe to remove the "draft" and "do not implement" > notes on this page:_ > __http://www.linuxfoundation.org/collaborate/workgroups/accessibility/iaccessible2_ > > Are there any objections? > > Pete > -- * > Pete Brunet* > > a11ysoft - Accessibility Architecture and Development > (512) 689-4155 (cell) > Skype: pete.brunet > IM: ptbrunet (AOL, Google), [email protected]_ > <mailto:[email protected]>(MSN)_ > __http://www.a11ysoft.com/about/_ > Ionosphere: WS4G _______________________________________________ > Accessibility-ia2 mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.linux-foundation.org/mailman/listinfo/accessibility-ia2 > >
