Position summary:

The Adobe Acrobat/Adobe Reader Quality Engineering team is seeking a software 
quality developer to expand and improve its automated testing. The quality 
developer filling this role will work closely with quality engineers and 
programmers in developing test strategy as well as designing and implementing 
automated tests for Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader. He/she will also create 
test plans and test cases, with a focus on product accessibility. If you have 
experience in software quality, programming, and have an interest in developing 
world class software, this may be the role for you.

Responsibilities

* Work closely with product quality engineers and programmers in developing 
test strategy for Adobe Acrobat and Reader, with a focus on product 
accessibility

 * Design and implement automated and manual test scripts

 * Develop test plans and test cases, applying understanding of how the product 
functions in the marketplace to test development

 * Debug, maintain, and execute test scripts and test cases

 * Isolate bugs effectively, reducing complex issues to clear steps

 * Act as the "customer advocate" when investigating defects

Requirements

* BSCS and 3 - 5 year experience in software development and testing

 * Windows or Macintosh experience

 * Experience writing Javascript or python

 * Knowledge of software fundamentals including design & analysis of 
computational algorithms, data structure design, and implementation, 
documentation, and testing

 * Excellent communication skills
