Hi,
I forwarded Malte's message on the CWSes with IAccessible2 code to
the developer list, and someone pointed out (see the message below)
that IBM will not integrate that code into the main branch of Apache
OpenOffice.org. (Maybe this is because the Lotus Symphony code that
IBM intends to release already supports IAccessible2.) So I don't
know who will do the integration work.

At ODF PlugFest in Berlin this July, IBM's Rob Weir announced that
although they will make that code public, they will not do the AOOo
integration of that code. Nevertheless they would support/advise anybody
who would try to do such an integration.
I will not give here my interpretation of that statement, but it might
be enough information for the wise.
