Hi :) You might have some luck if you re-name the user-profile. LibreOffice is then forced to create a new one which effectively sets it back to "factory defaults".
Search for the path ... libreoffice/3/user (or something like that) on the device where the portable app is installed. I'm not sure what the ... is for portable apps. I tend to re-name the "3" folder to something like reverse date such as "2011-09-28". When you try to re-open LibreOffice after that it is forced to generate new, default settings and create a new "3" folder. There is a thread to help find the path but it's on an OpenOffice server so it keeps dropping out ttp://user.services.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=74&t=12426 Hopefully it's easier to just poke around the device until you find the right folders. If it works then you still have all your old extensions, galleries and things in the back-up folder you just made so you can copy chunks back to see which chunk caused the problem. Good luck and regards from Tom :) --- On Wed, 28/9/11, Tutor1 <[email protected]> wrote: From: Tutor1 <[email protected]> Subject: [libreoffice-accessibility] LibreOffice 3.4 has stopped working To: [email protected] Date: Wednesday, 28 September, 2011, 16:32 After downloading and installing the portable appsversion of LO I get the following when i try to open it I'm using Win 7 pro with service pack 1 LibreOffice 3.4 has stopped working check online or close program either way the problem still remains Problem signature: Problem Event Name: BEX Application Name: soffice.bin Application Version: 3.4.302.500 Application Timestamp: 4e54357a Fault Module Name: MSVCR90.dll Fault Module Version: 9.0.30729.4940 Fault Module Timestamp: 4ca2ef57 Exception Offset: 0002e9f4 Exception Code: c0000417 Exception Data: 00000000 OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.48 Locale ID: 2057 Additional Information 1: 70d5 Additional Information 2: 70d5762ff668ba7bf0e5139640d4fd2f Additional Information 3: 1d77 Additional Information 4: 1d7771fdc7b88a2d27415e12512a980d -- View this message in context: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/LibreOffice-3-4-has-stopped-working-tp3376400p3376400.html Sent from the Accessibility mailing list archive at Nabble.com. -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to [email protected] Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/accessibility/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to [email protected] Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/accessibility/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
