Hi
I just wanted to let you all know that there has been some work to
improve the accessibility on the Mac. The first patch has been merged
into the upcoming versions of LibreOffice and there is at least one more
important patch waiting for review. Up until now the screen reader
VoiceOver has not been following the keyboard focus. This basically
means that as a non sighted user it very hard to use LibreOffice as an
editor since you never really know where the focus is.
The patch waiting for review is supposed to fix fdo#67410 - VoiceOver
does not provide typing or cursor movement echo in text. I don't know
when/if this will be integrated though. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
I'll try to keep you posted on how things move along.
