A while ago, I wrote to this list reporting a problem where NVDA reads too much information in Calc. This occurs after I enter data in a cell. After I enter data in a cell, pressing arrow keys reads the title of the open workbook, the words formula bar and a prompt telling me that I can enter data in this cell. This made me wonder if disabling a toolbar might fix the problem. When I noticed that the formula bar was checked, I unchecked it and the problem has been fixed. While I consider this a bug, this is a reasonable workaround as blind users can work in Calc without needing the formula bar enabled. I am so thrilled that I now have good access to Writer and Calc again. I have filed this info in NV Access's bug tracker.
