Hello,
as proposed on the developer mailing list [1] and discussed in the ESC meeting
yesterday [2], I suggest to remove the hard-coded shortcut Shift+Ctrl+F6.
According the help [3] it works on Calc and Draw/Impress but in fact only in
Calc, where pressing the shortcut activates the split window feature and allows
to position the splitter per cursor left/right and up/down (quite slow).
I suggest to remove because it is hard-coded and no other command such as
.uno:ToggleControlFocus can be customized for this key combination. The feature
itself is available per View > Split Window, although it does not allow to
position the splitter.
The question is whether someone uses this shortcut and if replacing it
(providing user customization) with .uno:SplitWindow is an acceptable alternative.
Best regards,
Heiko
