Hai Dinesh: In Bangalore, you find them almost everywhere! Of course, the consolation for us is there numbers are less in main roads. In the street where I live, for instance, there at least 50 stray dogs!! Sometimes, we are woken by their incessant barkings in the middle of the night. When we happen to come home late, they chase us and put us in great trouble.

It's really irritating even more due to the droppings left by them on roads. I never faced any animal (probably due to the fact that I rarely travel alone in colonies) I mostly get assistance or cycle rickshaw to reach the main roads, and animals are rarely found on the main roads (but many accounts of them on the main roads by people who are driveing) might not validate what I said, but I never encountered them on the main roads. For me it is greatest hurdle on colonies roads.
