Hi Aruni, I have a Canon IP1000 for last 8 months or so. The printer as well as the cartridge is reasonably priced but I have had to change the black cartridge twice already at my own cost, not printing more than 25 or 30 pages each time, making sure that the printer does not remain out of use for a very long time to prevent the ink going dry. The company came up with all sorts of excuses such as the cartridge would give output of 150 pages only with a certain minimum level of usage or that I may not have checked the originality of the cartridge while buying the printer from the dealer. I am not sure though that this is a common problem or happened with me alone.
