Hi, After I enquired with MR Uttapa, he told me that we are eligible for exemption of professional tax according to a state government notification.
Under normal circumstances, the employee will have to inform the employer of this notification and claim the exemption the notification # is fd11CPT92[5] dated 30/4/1992, the number 5 between brackets must be presented in roman numbers. According to MR Uttapa, this is the process we should follow to claim the exemption however if any employer wants a proof beyond this the concern can contact him.
