NIP, a NGO, recently inaugurated a Computer Education Center with special
facility for the physically challenged people on 9th July, 2006 at 11/1, Bangur
Avenue, Block C, Kolkata - 700 055, West Bengal, India. In that inauguration
ceremony Dr. Sujit Kumar Ghosh, Regional Director of Indira Gandhi National
Open University (IGNOU); Sri Nirmal Chakraborty from MIDTOWN Rotary Club; Sri
Sadhan Gupta, Former Advocate General of Govt. of West Bengal; Smt Manjari
Gupta, a social worker and other renowned personalities were present. the
computer center was inaugurataed by Sri Sadhan Gupta by clicking the mouse. The
programme was started by a song presented by physically challenged members of
our organisation. then one by one renowned personalities present in that
programme had given their speech. Our first physically challenged student Rinki
Gadodia had demonstrated that how she worked on computer by using JAWS.
Students of NIP performed different cultural programmes.
