Jaws works well with fine reader 7, apart from the fact that it does not read the scanned text properly. One needs to navigate word by word to find out whether the image has been recognised properly or not. I've tried changing some settings in the view menu which gave me some better, although not completely satisfactory results. As for fine reader 8, I don't think this particular problem, at least, will be solved. Jaws works the same with the both versions. But, anyway, other functions are manageable with jaws.
