Friends,

Recently, punjab national Bank has called quotations for converting their
ATMs in to talking ATMs. NCR and dybold has quoted a price of RS 45000 per
ATM for converting them. In rajasthan, it is pursued quite well and we are
hoping to have talking ATMs in PNB soon. if NGOs approach the respective
zonal offices of PNB to implement the same, i think it can be done rather
easily. I believe their head office has sent the rates to all controlling
offices and controlling offices may decide as per their requirement. Various
NGOs can push this through since not every controlling office will do it
of its own.

Regards,

Chetan Sharma
