Podcasts, Not Just for Music Anymore!

Have you seen students walking around with white earbuds attached
permanently to their ears? Chances are, they're not just listening to the
latest hit song.
They may be listening to podcasts, internet radio shows that can be
downloaded and listened to anywhere and anytime. Early podcasts consisted
mainly of music and independent talk shows, but the educational world has
caught on to the potential of this new medium and are using podcasts to
reach students in a new and innovative way. In this class, you will learn
how to find and listen to podcasts, how to record and create a quality show,
and how podcasts can be used in your institution. Accessiblity will also be
addressed. No technical expertise is necessary -- just a computer and a
microphone.
