These sites will provide free access to bookks that are not copyrighted. You can subscribe with bookshare with some payment to gain access to the recent copyrighted books, although the subscription process is complicated. Bartleby is also there, but the problem there is that ou need to read the book chapter by chapter or section by section. As far as I know, you cannot download the whole book from Bartleby.
