Hello, I think it is possible with fine reader. Just open the program, press control O to get the file open dialogue box, make the appropriate selection in the "file type"field ( I don't remember what is the default file type), select the file and open it. Wait for some time till it opens all the pages of the document. It wil depend on the file size. Then, press control shift R, which will recognise the pages. Finally, save it as word or text file and read it.
I have not done this myself, but I just assume it is possible.
