It works well with Jaws 7. Also, if you check the checkbox "Use MSAA for
list views" in the configuration manager > advanced settings, the
suggested methods when you enter the code are also read out. Eclipse has
made a lot of changes for accessibility of late.

you can use text pad, it has an option to add compilers, and is good.

Last time I tried eclipse, it didn't work properly, but I did not try
with 
jaws 7.
