Wristwatch to reflect caller identity
Sony Ericsson teams up with Fossil Inc. and Abacus Wristwatch will flash icon to indicate call It will also send out vibration Who's calling? Your wristwatch will tell you. Bangalore: Remember those embarrassing moments when your mobile phone vibrated in the middle of a conference? Now, you need not distract others by pulling it out and stealing a guilty glance to see who's calling. You can look at your wristwatch. Mobile handset maker Sony Ericsson has teamed up with watchmakers Fossil Inc. in the U.S. and Abacus in the U.K. to create a model in which the wristwatch is linked with the mobile phone by Bluetooth (a short-range wireless technology). On receiving a call, the wristwatch sends out a slight vibration and flashes an icon on its screen to indicate the calling number and the type of call voice or text message. One can then decide to take or ignore it. When the wristwatch is separated by more than 10 metres from the phone, it vibrates again to warn the wearer that he/she may have misplaced the phone. The model costs between $ 200 and 250 (Rs. 9,000-11,000). Shadab Husain Mo: 9335206224 To unsubscribe send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the subject unsubscribe.
