there is one more way:
locate your store folder where your messages are stored;
else, change your store location from the advance tab and store location;
once you've your location known to you, open that folder;
you'll find your inbox and other folders there in the store folder
they'll have dbx extentions.
copy these dbx folders on your pen drive
once your laptop is ready with OE, again change your store location folder
to a desireable one and paste in here, your dbx folders backed up in pen
drive  .
your message and folders will be imported.

hope this helps.
