If it is a word document, you should be able to read footnotes or endnotes by enabling the print layout view. If the print layout view is enabled, you can read notes just wherever they are. Please note, however, that if you are reading continuously, it will skip notes (probably there is some jaws verbasity setting for this but I don't remember). Therefore, please use up and down errow to read them. As for the Html document, I think the notes will come in the form of links. While reading the document, Jaws should speak "this page link", followed by the number of the notes. Clicking exactly that number should take you to the particular notes.
