Please take care that don't do any thing without saving your settings. Just open Kurzweil and complete the task which Viraj has suggested and then try to scan at least two papers. If it is working then fine and in case it is not working then exit from Kurzweil and reopen it and change the scanning sorce and again save your settings then try.
