Dear sir. I have to point out that Orientation and mobility training in the case of the blind and the visually impaired persons is a continuous process. Even if one has a good mobility skills, He may need assistance at a place where he occasionally visits. Even if one has good mobility he might need assistance at a particular airlines because due to their unavoidable circumstances they may have made some change in the layout of their checking counters, seccurity check counters etc in the intervening period of a blind person's two air trips. Therefore it is very much essential that a blind person gets assistance as and when he travels by an airlines. Many blind persons even though they have good mobility skills prefer to move about with a sight escort when such a facility is available to him or her. It is therefore my feeling that such a generalisation may not be fare.
