As for as I know, You can insert rows in a table by doing the following:

1. Go to the specific row below or above  which the rows need to be 
inserted.

2. Press the menu key, then A to get to the tables menu and then press the I 
to get to the insert menu.

3. Now you will be asked whether you want to insert a table, a column to the 
right, a column to the left, rows above and rows below.

4. Select your choice based on your preference and press enter. That's it 
and you should be good to go.
