Dear Friend, When you configure an email account in Outlook Express, you can set the time taken to download the mails into that particular account by going into the Advanced page of Accounts. The settings there determine the length of time Outlook Express will download mails from that particular account. When that time expires, Outlook Express automatically stops the download.
If all the mails are not downloaded before the time expires, Outlook Express treats it as an Interrupted Download and next time, restarts the download from the first mail. The reason why mails prior to 17.09.06 are being downloaded repeatedly maybe because when Outlook Express reaches that date the time limit expires. Also, since the download restarts each time from the first mail, the later mails are not downloaded. To solve this problem, visit the account online and delete all mails prior to 17.09.06. Now, when you start Outlook Express, it will not download the earlier mails and also download the latest mails. Hope that this solves your problem.
