Hi,

Go to www.ssun.com or on a search engine of your choice use a search string
similar to "download java access bridge."

Where do we get the Java access bridge? It's not available on the jfwlite
page.

Hi,

Do you have the Java access bridge installed? This is a piece of middleware
that
allows Java to interact with jaws.

Subject: [AI] An issue with Java

Hi everyone,

I have recently started using an online tool called Web CT provided by the
Ramapo college of New Jircy. Just a quick word about this program for those
who
are not familiar with Web CT: Web CT is an online tool managed and
administered
by a company called the "blackboard". This program is used by some colleges
to
facilitate their faculties to post course materials online. Now the software
can
run in Internet explorer, Netscape and Mesilla firefox environments. The
program
requires Java environment to be enabled and run properly. However when I
enter
my user ID and password and click the okay button, then JAWS stops speaking
automatically and the only way for me is to shut down the internet explorer
crudely by going to the windows task manager and clicking the "end task
button".
Sometimes even it doesn't work and I had to crudely shut down the windows.
What's going on here? I found out that JAWS sometimes conflicts with Java
run
environment. I have not found any solution so for. So any thoughts on this
will
be greatly appreciated.

Vetri.

P. S. I tried doing the browser check and even that seems to be alright. I
am
pasting below it's results.
