TO understand Video intersept manager, we need to understand how screen
readers work.

Once I had written a detailed article in access india about it, but now I
will try to explain it in short.

What ever is shown on screen has a long root from the program we are using
to the monitor. We can either ask the program about the information, or
intersept the information in that long route. To intersept the information,
a component in screen readers act like a display driver, and capture the
desired information and forward it to the actual display driver so that it
is visible on the monitor.

This peace of software is called video intersept driver, and the software
which adds or removes it from display driver chaine is called video
intersept manager.
