Hello Friends,

There have been two important developments which could be of some
relevance
to this issue.
First, after a protracted effort, I am in possession of Indian Banks
Association's guidelines issued to all Banks pertaining to Various
aspects
of Banking services to VI customers. These guidelines have been issued
in
compliance with CCPD's order, but unfortunately they don't say anything

regarding ATM Facilities to VI customers.Secondly Our Bank, Oriental
Bank of
commerce has launched special saving account scheme for physically
challenged persons wherein our bank has extended certain facilities to
physically challenged persons. Of course, these do include ATM
facility.
If anybody on the list requires a copy of IBA's guidelines and circular
pertaining to our bank's special saving account scheme, please contact
me
privately.
   Thanks,

Chetan Sharma
