Dear all, I was asked by the IT minister of West Bengal to prepare a list of initiatives which can be taken up immediately and it would benefit large disabled community of West Bengal. One of those initiative included a dedicated web site for disabled citizens of West Bengal. Minister has agreed to take up this initiative and he want me to come up on ideas of content. My vision is to ideally create a one stop information center for West Bengal disabled citizens belonging to all disability group. some possible ideas could be disable West Bengal citizens could register themselves for possible employment opportunity with the government agency / corporate. List of NGO's working in disability sector, List of gov. circular / forms for available different services including confessional services. I would love to get your ideas on this. is there any similar initiative that has been taken up in your state? If yes, what are their common features? Your input would highly be appreciated.
