Hi Asif

What I do is to take a photo copy of the cheque I have issued and inform the 
Bank-branch to clear the cheque. I take this care when I don't want the 
cheque to be returned relating to signature variation issue.
When the branch is at a distance, I call up the branch and give details of 
the cheque.

This works well both ways. This is a suggestion.
