Dear Mahesh and other friends,
Thanks for taking up the issue with utmost vigor. Vice
Chancellor of any
university can not give irresponsible statement like
this. Please do let me
know what is the source of information for such
remarks. He spoke casually
or it was
reported in some newspaper or magazine. There are
states where there is more
than fifty percent reservation. He is nobody to
interpret law. This is the
function
of judiciary and should be left to it .
His discriminatory statement should be condemned with
equal force.
The three percent reservation for physically
challenged is already in force.
Whereas reservation for Obis is yet to be a reality.
If at all there would
be a question mark that would be on 27 percent
reservation for OBCs not on
the three percent reservation for Physically
Challenged persons. If he at
all makes any discrimination based on such personal
presumptions he could be
dragged to court. If you could get me the source for
the same I could direct
such remarks to the knowledge of CCPD.
With regards,
Vip
