A truly useful effort indeed. It is good they realized their mistake in time
and without recourse to needless judicial process.

However, they must come out with a corrigendum and also extend the deadline
for applying as is usually done in case of any corrigendum. In fact, I could
apply for RBI Officer's post [where I am working at present] only because of
such a corrigendum! [smile]

So please follow it up and ensure the deadline is extended.
