Dear Friends, I am central government employee (on contract basis) and in service since last 15 years. I am suffering from RP since long time and my boss and some close colleagues know about my vision problems. Recently I obtained my disavility certificate and now I wish to place it on official records in my company. This is mainly because I wish to open up and do not want to hide my problems. .
As such, there are no rules and regulations in our company (HR policy documents) for disabled persons. So I request for your views and advise on how can I declare myself as physically handicapped person. Do you think this is required and will this affect my career growth and future contract renewals ?
