Hi Syed,

Interpretting charts and graphs is still a tricky area. Your best bet is to
use a Braille printer like the Tiger embosser. Barring that, you may want to
get the content of those graphs and charts in a nonvvisual form. For flow
diagrams, you can have some success with Visio while you can plot graphs in
Excel. You can use the audio graphing calculater from View Plus technologies
to understand actual graphs. Another solution is the vOICe from
www.seeingwithsound.com.

Again, what kind of graphs and charts are you dealing with?

Dear folks,

I have Business mathematics and Managerial economics as a part of my BBM
curriculum.
both the subjects include drawing charts and diagrams and other such
graphical areas.
My disability is visual impairment.
Now, I just want to know what assistive technologies and assistive aids will
I make use of in the classroom to understand charts, diagrams and graphs
drawn on the black board?
Unfortunately, the faculties cannot increasingly concentrate more and more
towards me as there are about 200 students in our class. So I think I should
try my friends for time being.
Your comments, suggestions and sharing of information will be of great help
to me in this matter

With best regards
Syed Imran
