IITs, IISc prepare web-video programmes for higher learning Kanpur, June. 28 (PTI): The Indian Institute of Technology and Indian Institute of Science at Bangalore have prepared 120 web and 115 video based packages to provide higher education to engineering and management students. The National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning, approved by the Human Resource Development Ministry, had been prepared by teachers of IITs and IISc and could be availed on the internet or through CDs and DVDs, Satyaki Roy, professor at IIT-Kanpur Media Centre, told reporters here. He said the programmes cover various subjects like electrical, mechenical, computer scince, electronics, civil engineering and management. He said IIT-K was organising a two-day workshop from tomorrow to provide details about the programme to the teaching staff of the engineering and management institutes.
