dear arup, this happens with some computers and jaws combination. i too face a similar problem quite frequently. there is no standard solution, however, you may consider doing the underwritten: 1. launch the ms word file that you wish to use. 2. then launch another blank or already existing notepad file. 3. move the cursor with this notepad to read and type read what is written inthere. 4. now, toggle back to the ms word file that you wish to work upon and see if the commands mentioned by you work.
