Hello friends. I use the HP scanner. I am usually on the look out for options that make the task a bit easier for us. Now, as far as I am concerned, scanning a page consumes nearly one minute, meaning fifty five to sixty pages in an hour. I began to explore with the intention of positively change this situation. To my surprise, I did manage something. HP provides me with some options- original is double sided (check box), prompt for aditional pages (check box), view file after scanning (check box). forget about the first option. now, i check the second and third boxes and begin scanning. say, after finishing with ten pages, i wish to stop there. so i hit the done button. naturally, an image file appears. it is now to be converted into word by sending text to word. In my case, when I do this, only the first or last page is converted. What about the rest?? Does this work? I was elated at the prospect of reducing about forty percent of my time over all. this. Please help me. What if I uncheck the third check box? Where do my files vanish? Waiting eagerly for a reply. Moiz.
