Hi, I am happy to explore this further, but to the best of my knowledge, the only qualification to become an insurance agent for life insurance or for both life and general insurance i.e. composite insurance agent as per IRDA Regulations is to be 12th pass. Qualifications and process for corporate agent may differ.
I have following questions: 1. What is the extent of your visual impairment? 2. Have you applied for the insurance agent with ICICI Prulife and got the rejection in writing? 3. If that stage is crossed, have you been denied the practical training thereby stopping you from appearing in the pre-recruitment exam conducted by Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai? 4. Have you approached the top management of ICICI Prulife? Regards, -- Amar Jain.
